The versatile South German guitarist and pianist died in 2007 of cancer and was only 38 years old. He performed many of Uli Johannes Kieckbusch's works and they were connected in friendship. So Kieckbusch dedicated a piece of his album "Schwebende Riefen Bebende Tiefen" (2017) for him and ended his intermezzo cycle with this seventh composition in which he used only the notes written in the name of his friend occur.
