A.k.a. George Arnaud Maia Gomes
Through his GRG moniker, George Gomes, from Recife on Brazil's north-eastern coast, has been a notable contributor to the underground dance scene for over five years. Describing 2012 as "life-changing", Gomes had built a golden reputation founded upon DJ performances across his home city that ultimately led to a residency at "Club Nox" and sets alongside the likes of Above and Beyond and fellow countryman, Gui Boratto. Finding a home for his production talents as early as 2009, the "San Telmo" EP for the Greek owned Vapour Recordings in late 2011, opened the door for further work on Stripped Digital and Cid Inc.'s Replug. Indeed, the latter saw the release of "Stretch", with remixes from Kassey Voorn and Andre Sobota. A regular on Somebody's Story, Proton Music and Flow Vinyl until 2014, an eighteen-month hiatus brought GRG back to the production arena in 2016 with the "Leidenschaft EP".
