After the demise of his previous attempt at Indie Pop stardom, Ronardo P Recacho was left with a wealth of unfinished/unreleased material. He felt that his musical endeavours had not yet reached their full potential. Thusly, after a period of inactivity [& ultimately inner reflection] he deemed it time to regroup & start anew. GABARDINE is the result. With catchier hooks, more complex arrangements & more than a few nods to 60s soul/girl groups/burt bacharach/the brill building/phil spector's wall of sound, GABARDINE are here to bring it all back to basics. With just the right amount of sass, of course! So get ready--'cause here we come!
