Gabriel "Gabe" Witcher (born June 11, 1978) is an American virtuoso fiddle player and singer, 7 time Grammy nominated Artist, Producer, Arranger, Session Musician, and a founding member of the critically acclaimed American string ensemble Punch Brothers. Witcher, along with his fellow Punch Brothers, was also named Affiliate Scholar of Oberlin Conservatory in 2014. Witcher started fiddling at the age of 5, and began performing at the age of 6. He is a first call session musician, providing musical duties for numerous film & television scores such as The Good Dinosaur, The Hunger Games - Mockingjay 2, Inside Llewyn Davis, The Hunger Games, Brokeback Mountain, Cars, Toy Story, True Detective, Nashville, Better Call Saul, Sons of Anarchy and many others.
