Since young, Gabriel Montufar (aka DJ Monti) has been a musician. His seriousness about it brought him to study in Berklee College of Music (Boston MA), where he graduated as a Recording/Mixing Engineer and a Sound Designer. DJ Monti believes music should be "out of the box" in all genres, especially in electronica. This is why he strives to create high quality sounding electronic music, that has extra ingredient to make it outstanding. Discography includes Deskarado Records, Swordtail Records, and Amniotik Recordings. Besides production, Gabriel Montufar (aka DJ Monti) is well know for his performances which include opening acts for Tiesto, Gabriel & Dresden, Hed Kandi, Seb Fontaine, among others; participation in the 2005, 2006, and 2008 South American Music Conference's (Ecuador Chapters), and acts at the recognized club BLUES in Quito, Ecuador.
