Limited edition stamped numbered gatefold CD with printed disc. "Crossing The Wasteland" is an album dedicated to sonically presenting the dry minimalism of the desert. After a trip to the Thar Desert in India the Ukrainian duo of Igor Yalivec and Sergiy Yagoda wanted to explore the mysterious dry emptiness of the Thar, and bring these ideas into dialogue with their own musical heritage which draws on nature, and traditional Ukrainian folkloric and healing practices for inspiration. The result is this magical hybrid album, a product of imagination and fantasy, a music where the mysticism of Gamardah Fungus, and the forests of the Ukraine come into dialogue with the imposing minimalism of the Thar.
