Gamardah Fungus turned to portable tape decks, handmade instruments and trips to the forest to record Fairytales. The duo often turn to nature, and traditional Ukrainian folkloric practices for inspiration. This time around they added their own Russolo-inspired Intonarumori (a hand built noise instrument) into their forest-based improvisatory sessions to create an album of sparse and mysterious beauty.
