Gandalf was a rock band in Uppsala in the late 1970s. The music they played was in the symphonic rock direction, while the lyrics more in prog rock direction, with song titles like Environmental Pollution, Rating Terror and Plastic Svensson. Gandalf released an LP record. The album, despite small edition and lukewarm reception upon issuance, has become a collector's item, and often brings in over 1,000 kronor on sales. Drifting in the band was Johan von Feilitzen, who later co-founded the band Hansa Band.
