Manuel Mesquita aka Lobo aka Garcia da Selva was born 40 years ago in São Jorge de Arroios,a portuguese parish in the municipality of Lisbon. He is a co-founder (together with Norberto Lobo and João Lobo) of the post-rock trio NORMAN and plays solo as GARCIA DA SELVA. Started playing live in 1995. Also tocaplays with Centurions, Tristes Trópicos, REC brutus and Le Grind.
