Former Best Buy Co. Inc. executive who helped the company become a competitive music retailer. He died in March of 2017 Arnold spent nearly two decades in the marketing-entertainment division at Best Buy, ending his career there as chief entertainment officer in 2012. He helped the Richfield-based retailer become a notable leader in music sales. While at Best Buy, Arnold created the Redline Entertainment label, which released projects for the Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Prince, Elton John and other notable artists. He also led efforts for the retailer to offer more hard-to-find indie music. Arnold started his music career with Midwest chain Disc Records. He also held a position at Hollywood Records.
