In a career that spans more than 40 years, Gaston Gagnon has shared the spotlight with some of the greatest musicians in the world, appearing live at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New-York, at the Montreal International Jazz Festival and at Nyon's International Festival, among others. He has played with a host of different artists, both live and in studio. He wrote and arranged a vast number of musical pieces and has produced many albums. A member of several bands, he is best known for his work with Garolou, the first band of its kind to draw its inspiration from traditional French songs and, also, Existence. Along the way, he has worked with many famous people, from Ray Bonneville to Carl Tremblay to B.B. King to name a few. More recently he contributed to the projects Visual Harmonies and A Touch of Cream. Gaston Gagnon redefines what should be guitar played with passion!
