Former frontman of chilean band Los Jaivas. He was the lead singer and guitarist, though he usually played many other instruments. Alquinta died of a cardiac arrest, which he suffered in a beach near to Coquimbo, Chile. Father of Eloy Alquinta, Ankatu Alquinta and Aurora Alquinta. Born: January 22nd, 1945. Deceased: January 15th, 2003.
