Engineer and producer, born in Glasgow, Scotland. At age 18, he began training as an engineer at Townhouse Studios in London. He worked with and learned from producers including Steve Lillywhite and Hugh Padgham. The first album MacKillop produced was General Public's "All The Rage" in 1984. He has moved to the U.S. where he produced records for artists such as Toad The Wet Sprocket, Goo Goo Dolls, Church and Audiovent.
