Dance (Breaks, Electro)
Comes with a two sided A4 sized black and white insert. "One month, summer 2004, Raval quarter, Barcelona On the night of the 23rd we heard a scrath behind the cooker accompanied by the sound of several high pitched squeals and a steady beating from beneath the floorboards. Armed with a crowbar and a pair of rubber gloves, we decided to investigate. The sight that greeted our eyes filled us with joy and revulsion, shock and horror, fish and chips (sorry - ed) and a thirst to understand: Thousands of tiny white rats, eyes flashing from red to green, heads waving from side to side in a rodent trance, razor sharps claws scraping the floor panels in time to the hi-hats... Sorry did I mention there was music? It seems that en earlier experiment of ours had gotten way way out of control so I thought back to that fateful day when the rat we rescued from the animal testers brought it upon itself to escape from us its protectors. Followed almost immediatly by the disappearance of the Gearshifter... Looking further down the hole my deepest fears were confirmed: the rat didn't die, if anything it proliferated beyond our wildest expectations bringing forth a newer and more dangerous underground tribe than the world has ever seen. All of them locked to the sounds of the 21st century's pied piper, but wait, there is another being also at the controls, get a photo and upload it for I.D. processing. The Gearshifter woke to the sound of scratching, small keen eyes looked up at him; without speaking the small white animal explained how fascinated he had become with the electronic pulses, he had been watching the Gearshifter and inquired if he could claw at the controls alongside the traveller. The Gearshifter who was always open to new ideas accepted readily. They fired things up and set out. Being a rat an not giving a fuck for the constraints of genres, H matter from the rodent tribe of Hekate, asked the Gearshifter if he would join him on his quest: the mutation of the city, Mod DC (Modern Dance Culture). Together they set out on a journey, aroute where the road split and they found themselves in a maze where breaks spat at them and the fungus of the addictive analog moss grew over them as they walked. Labrat 16 is their journey out of the toxic wasteland and their attack on Mod DC."
