Throughout the years, many friends and fans have asked for the recorded works of Gene Hazlett and Gene Loranger. It has been geographically difficult for these two jazz guitar players to get together as performers until 2000. The selection of materials on this album include favorite Ballads and Bossa Novas. Both guitarists have developed style of playing and several different guitars were used in this recording, producing a variety of interpretations and tonal qualities. For the past half century the "Genes" have been very close friends and this represents their only recording which spans 50 years of playing together. Recorded by River Run Records (Randy Quiqley) at Soundrax Studios, Gooding, ID.
