Born in Atlanta, Ga in 1939. Died March 20, 2015 Singer, choir director, and evangelist, he began his recording career in the 1960s with Evangelist A. A. Allen. For several years to follow, he traveled with Allen, singing at revivals and with the Miracle Valley Chorus, also recording as Gene and The Gene Martin Singers. From the 1970s through the 1990s, Rev. Martin traveled the country with his own ministry, the Gene Martin Action Revival
