Singer of Rock and Pop
Quebec singer-songwriter-musician (born 1948 in Nova Scotia, son of Halifax country singer Slim Williams) made his first recordings in 1964 with his band "Gene and the Notes", releasing the album "Play Songs of The Beatles" (Globe Records G-6006) at the same time as the Beatles craze began to hit North America. Between 1967 & 1969, he recorded six solo singles and released one album, and then moved on as guitarist for the likes of Donald Lautrec, Pierre Nolès, Jerry DeVilliers and André Lejeune.....eventually leaving the music industry all together.
