Album US 2017 on Big Mix Up Records label
Electronic and Reggae (Grime, House, Electro House)
Wicked, wicked! The incredible General Levy is back! And not only is the UK legend back, but he's unleashed an absolutely banging track in a brand new flavour, fresh and ripe for the festivals, carnivals and party islands. The General teamed up with Toni Toolz after meeting at Adobo Studios in London, and shortly after 'Move' was born. The original mix soon became the party animal it is when the infamous brass line from 'Merengue' by Bolivar was faithfully laid down by yet another legend that needs absolutely no introduction: Matic Horns. 'Move' captures and captivates, with a colourful and vibrant Cuban element which is reminiscent of Samba, summer parties and carefree days. Nicely supplementing this initial promo release are two very different but equally massive remixes. First we have a fantastically wobbly thumper by Lempo – a bit Techy, a bit Electro but every bit banging, followed by the huge Grime remix from Cubanpakk, absolutely packed full of vibes and UK flavour. The full release, out later this summer, includes a massive stack of awesome remixes and a couple of special versions to watch out for, so keep your eyes and ears peeled!
