Tokyo 1978 2nd Night

Album JP 2015 on Virtuoso label
Rock (Prog Rock)

Live at Nakano Sunplaza, Tokyo, Japan 28th November 1978. Genesis's first visit to Japan, the original master's live album of the new Impact. It is the first visit of 1978 that has produced many masterpiece titles until now, but this work is different from any of them. It is surprising that only a new excavation was made over the 37 years of space-time, but what is more astounding is the superb sound. It is a live album with the highest sound quality that I have never heard before. This is not the best of the day. The entire Japan tour, no, 1978 the entire tour is a level you have never seen any more sound sources. The master, who was unearthed this time, recorded an audience recording of the second day of Japan Tour "Nakano Sun Plaza performance on November 28, 1978". However, the sound quality is hesitating to be called an "audience". It is a live that is known in "IZAKAYA" and "FRONT ROW" from old, but is completely different from them...... Say, it is not a comparison. It is not the level of the direct feeling and the seat recording in the audience although it is certain that it is a recording of the audience from fresh applause. Not only the synth and the vocal, but also the twin drum and the base are smooth, neither collapse nor crack, and it is recorded beautifully. I don't know the recording position, but the reverberation of the venue is few, and when the performance starts, it is so neat that I completely forget that it is a seat recording. That's the sound board, no, the natural sound of the tone and the balance more than that. This is the record of the latest digital equipment, but also convinced that the Seventies.... It's just the sound of the freshness that shocks you. It's as if this tape was just a time-fresh sound. Of course, I finished the mastering that I valued the freshness of the sound to the maximum. The original master suddenly started playing, and the middle "drunken talk....." MC had a cut of the tape change, so we compensated for that part in FRONT ROW. It is a scene which has nothing to do with the performance, but it is the MC of the name, so you can enjoy it in full version. The live spread with such a beautiful sound is uncontrollable wonderful. "There are three remaining Genesis", but we still firmly put our feet in the field of progressive rock, "Ripples" One For the Vine, "the Cinema Show] is also a lot of the masterpiece of the five-time era and four people. The ensemble that plays such a piece of music has a more stable feeling than "SECONDS OUT", with associate Darryl and Chester Thompson finally reaching the final. And, the splendid music world is completely shown by the sound of the great impression only by the symphonic Echo as well as the exquisite ensemble and majestic, profound, and magnificent. Of course, the Japanese MC of Phil Collins, which is even now legendary, is also included. Phil's Japanese in a quiet venue resounds clear and calls the audience lol. I regret to say, "Let's go to a tavern in Tokyo with me". Although it is not heard, it is clear enough to be able to hear even one of particles Japanese it seems to be a foreigner really. "The Cinema Show", "The story of Romeo that does nothing in the end", is heard clearly enough to have never experienced. After that, they also departed to another world, but they fascinated us with beautiful, complex and fantastic music just before that. To be honest, "live album of the Japan performance" even if you say, there are many things you do not know what is different from the overseas performance and listen. However, the show is heavily engraved with the Showtime that made full use to the Japanese to make the audience enthusiastic. This is one of the best sounds of all time, with the greatest sound of all Japan.
