Singer / Musician of Pop and Rock
French guitarist and singer songwriter, born in 1956 in Suresnes (Paris). Geneviève learned guitar at the Paris conservatory and won first prize at her examination in 1973. She started to play in folk clubs, where she was noticed by Maxime Le Forestier with whom she will go on tour. Julien Clerc will also invite her to join him. Her first two albums, "Geneviève Paris" and "Entre Le Vert Et Le Gris" were so well received in Quebec that she recorded her third album there. She settled in Montreal in 1983 after two years of touring and producing her fourth album. She has lived there ever since, and writing, studio recording and touring will be her life for 25 years. In 2001, Geneviève will be fascinated by Flash animation on the Internet. She quickly involved herself in the internet, and in 2002, founded the company "Geneviève Paris Studios" which created interfaces, websites and interactive applications, keeping up with the latest technologies, and abandoning music ... ... until early summer 2011, when she was struck by an intense and sudden inspiration ! She left on a "road trip" with her guitar, and within two months, she wrote enough new songs for a new album.
