A.k.a. Jean Bradford
Pop and jazz vocalist born in 1923, in Petersburg, VA. Later married drummer Richard Madison "Spanky" Jones and moved to Houston where they performed with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. In Houston, she later worked with Dick Shannon, president of the local chapter of the American Federation of Musicians, doing voice work in the Houston advertising community. She may also be remembered as the national voice of "Rice-A-Roni, the San Francisco Treat." The Joneses eventually retired to Lubbock, where her husband passed away on June 6, 2005.
