This is the second of a set of three record albums presenting the Sixteen Concertos for Organ and Orchestra, recorded on an organ of 1749 "designed" and frequently played by Handel himself. The organ is at Great Packington, Warwickshire, England, on the estate of the Earl of Aylesford in the Forest of Arden. Included with the first of the three albums (Columbia K2L 258 and Stereo K2S 602) is an illustrated booklet with some notes on the personality of Handel, a discussion of his organ concertos, and a description of the search that led to this instrument. Side 1 and side 4 constitute the first LP.
