A.k.a. George E. Harper, Jr.

An American saxophonist, clarinetist, flutist, composer and arranger. Born on March 1, 1942 in Savannah, Georgia, USA. Died on February 5, 2014. Harper worked over 27 years in California's aerospace industry as a software programmer, before becoming a full time jazz musician in the early 1990s. Between 2000 and 2004 he worked with Ray Charles. In 2008 he was inducted into the Savannah Coastal Jazz Association Hall of Fame. He was also a member of the Professional Musicians Local 47 in Hollywood.
