The album was recorded by one Ken Mills on August 28 and September 1, 1962, at the Jeunes Amis Hall on North Robertson Street in New Orleans. Photos, credits and extensive notes by Grayson Mills at the back cover where it's noted that the Band playing on the album is George Guesnon's New Orleans Band. Note that "Kid Thomas' Boogie Woogie" is also known as "Kid Thomas' Double Woogie."
