George Melvin (Born May 13th 1946, Died April 15th 2010), graduated from Campbell High School in Virginia, USA and lived in the Lynchburg / Charlottesville area for all of his life. He began his professional "keyboard" career at 18 with several groups managed by All Platinum Studios and was mentored by Richard "Groove" Holmes during his years in The New York City and New Jersey areas.
