Saxophonist. George is one of the country’s leading young saxophonists. He started learning clarinet and Saxophone aged 10. He excelled through school and college Passing Grade 8 on both with Honours and distinction aged just 14. In 2002 He gained a place at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music & Drama where his principal study was Jazz Saxophone. Four Years later, since graduation, George has been a professional saxophone player running his own jazz trio and a 9-piece party band called ‘Brenthouse’. He also makes appearances playing solo saxophone over house DJs for the internationally known ‘Hedkandi’, under the name “Gorgeous George”! He has appeared on TV shows (including Top of the Pops, Britain’s got Talent and Later with Jools Holland), backing many Artists including Charlotte Church, McFly, Paul Potts, Leon Jackson, Jane McDonald, Josh Ritter, and Cornielle. He has played at many prestigious venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, The Barbican Centre, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and The 606 Jazz Club.
