George Redman
Producer
Originally from Panama, George Redman was a journeyman soul producer throughout the Midwest in the 60s and 70s. Though based in Wichita, Kansas, Redman did most of his work out of Chicago studios and is often credited as Jorge Rojohombre. His many vanity labels included Blue Light Records, Moneytown, Tempo Records (11), United International (5), and Variety. Later based in New Orleans where he operated the Super City imprint, Redman was sadly found murdered in his home in the mid-80s.
