Jazz (Big Band, Swing)
This is a boxed set of three records released together with George T. Simon's book of the same name, a history of the Big Band era. The compiled tracks are a sampling of original Big Band recordings made from between 1935 and 1950. Each album is in its own labeled sleeve, printed with the catalog number and ads for similar albums by that disc's publisher. The box contains a two page leafelet with a track listing and discographical information for each track and a short explanation of the compilation itself.
