Album US 2013 on Not Bad Music label
Dance (Tech House)
Not Bad's roster of artists from NYC keeps on growing and growing. After Something Strange's (NB003) success we are excited to present the next Yankee, George Vala, with two incredibly refined tracks. The A-side, "Moonface", features gently layered percussion to form that perfect summer groove. The vocal and pad work take listeners up the etheral ladder to a place of tranquility and peace, all while maintaining a danceable vibe. Desolat artist, Basti Grub, hits us with his interpretation of the track as the only remix. Rounding out the EP is "Lucky Me," a turbo charged tech groover that has massive impact. In standard George Vala style, he constructs a dancefloor weapon while maintaining that perfect hint of tribal tone to remind us all where dance music truly comes from. Look out for future George Vala material on Not Bad ;) Support from: Blond:ish, Pleasurekraft, Namito, Nicole Moudaber, Dela (Mindshake), Hermanez, Yaya, David Gtronic, Clio, Arjun Vagalee, Ilario Liburni, Filsonik, Deltano, Keith John, Macromism, LaRosa, Will Monotone
