Georges Courquin

FR
Composer / Conductor of Jazz and Pop

French conductor and composer, born in the beginning of the 20th century and died in 1973. He's sometimes credited as Georges Courquin Fils, G. Courquin Fils, and other similar variations. Fils has the same meaning as Jr. in French, meaning that one of his parents was also named Georges Courquin, and that he used Fils to make the difference. Arthur Courquin (composer-publisher; 18...-1953) was a member of his family.
