A.k.a. Gerardo Gombau Guerra
Spanish composer (Salamanca, 1906-Madrid, 1972). Founder of New Music in Madrid (1958), his musical works also evolved from a conservative nationalism to a system approach to serial and electronic music. Gerardo Gombau also performed as a pianist and conductor, and participated in the creation of the Spanish Contemporary Music Publishing (EMEC).
