Born in Pittston, PA, producer, songwriter, and performer who signed with Sunbeam Records (3) and had minor success in mid-1958 with the novelty hit "No Chemise Please". He went on to greater success, however, as Dicky Doo of Dicky Doo & The Don'ts with the backing and support of Dick Clark (2) on the Swan label, a move that was necessitated by his contractural ties to his former label, Sunbeam
