Former tour and production manager for artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, Queen, Rod Stewart, and Paul McCartney. Born in Lydd, England in 1942, Stickells was broadly credited with having created the modern touring industry in a career that began when he took the job of Hendrix’s driver in 1966. He passed away after a long illness on March 6, 2019.
