Dutch tromboneplayer and conductor mostly known for his work in the field of (symphonic) wind band music. From 1976 to 1994 he was conductor of the Dutch military orchestra Johan Willem Friso Kapel. In 1994 he was appointed Inspector Military Music of the Dutch Military Forces and retired from the military service in 2008. He is still closely involved in the Dutch wind band music scene as an administrator and as an adjudicator at competitions.
