Gewalt Kubikzahl is an industrial band from California. They were formed under the initial name of g³ in 1997 by vocalist/musician Daemon S. Noir, and then joined in 1998 by Ernst Bishop. Noir and Bishop completed their first album C-SECTION which was released by Coma-Dose Creations (CDC) in 2000. Bishop then left the band creatively and Noir completed their second album CYBIRTH in 2002 with CDC. Noir and Bishop continued to perform together in support of this album for over a year. Eventually in late 2003, Bishop and Noir parted ways completely. Noir then set out to complete the band's final album. Noir, now with Joe Pagano of the band PROTEUS, played shows together for a year featuring material that would eventually be released in 2006 as the final album named "CONTRA-INCEPTION". Joe Pagano (aka "Pagan") is now a full time member of the punk band VOTING WITH BULLETS. Noir continues making music with his solo project KUBIKZAHL, but is currently working on material as the new lead vocalist for the band HexRx.
