Based on his pedigree you would expect all out hard rock with Sabbath influences or, according to the Stefano Pontani past, progressive rock similar to progsters Ezra Winston but this should not be expected. He plays ambient/electronic with some incursions in prog rock: Gianluca Livi’s today approach is free and visionary, with a very measured presence of its own instrument, the drums, while opting for electronic percussive devices as well as noise studio devices and effects.
