"Music for Maya Deren" is the second chapter of "Realtime Film Scores", a series of musical performances dedicated to experimental American cinema, in which the soundtrack is composed and performed live, during the projection, through electronic musical instruments such as modular synthesizers, recorders tape and echo effects. The musical scores for two films were originally performed at the Audiovisual Festival, in the Museum of Science and Technology, Milan on October 29 2011, recorded live onto tape and released for free on the artist's website. The films were: At Land (1944) with Maya Deren, Alexander Hammid, John Cage and Parker Tyler Ritual in Transfigured Time (1946) with Maya Deren, Rita Christiani, Frank Westbrook and Anaïs Nin
