Album US 1964 on Musical Heritage Society label
Classical (Baroque)
Please see this article http://www.unz.org/Pub/SaturdayRev-1964jul25-00047 regarding the credits in this recording. Here are the two relevants excerpts: "In the Pergolesi Stabat Mater and Salve Regina on MHS-504, also credited to "Otto Schneider," with soprano Herta Gross and alto Maria Gunther, the actual participants, as listed on Epic LC-3460, are Bruna Rizzoli, soprano, Claudia Carbi, mezzo, and the Teatro Communale Chorus and Orchestra under Francesco Molinari-Pradelli" and "MHS advises that the pseudonyms were supplied by Columbia Special Products, from whom the recordings were obtained and which organization does all MHS pressings. Whatever the reason for this curious procedure (reminiscent of the early Camden issues), the four records involved are all welcome returnees. Since they are to be discontinued when present stocks expire, let this be the word to the wise who may have missed them on Epic."
