A reconstruction of the Mass as it might have been conducted in the Sistine Chapel, Rome, in 1613. Plainchant from the Tridentine Rite with Soriano's arrangement for double choir of Palestrina's "Missa Papae Marcelli." Originally broadcast on the 31st December 1984 as part of the Radio 3 series "The Octave of the Nativity." Track timing taken from CD player.
