Album UK 2006 on Polydor label
Pop
This track, "Girls On 45", is almost identical to the track found on the "Something Kinda Ooooh" single, "Girls Aloud Megamix". The only difference is that "Girls On 45" samples the intro and outro of Stars On 45's "Stars On 45 Medley", while "Girls Aloud Megamix" does not sample "Stars On 45 Medley", and instead includes a long instrumental intro and outro. "Girls On 45" include the following tracks: 1. Stars On 45's "Stars On 45 Medley" (the intro) the following Girls Aloud tracks: 2. "Love Machine" 3. "Wake Me Up" 4. "Jump" 5. "No Good Advice" 6. " Biology" 7. "Sound Of The Underground" 8. "I'll Stand By You" 9. "Long Hot Summer" 10. "The Show" and 11. Stars On 45's "Stars On 45 Medley" (the outro) This is an official promo from Polydor, the CD equivalent to a vinyl white label, of sorts. It was issued to promote their first greatest hits album. As of 2016, is has never been released commercially. At the time, it was said that the Stars On 45 sample was too expensive to warrant a commercial release. However, when their second greatest hits was released, a new megamix, "Girls On 45 Volume 2" was put together to promote their second greatest hits. 'Volume 2' did receive a commercial release (and an official music video). The intro is different though: "Ride a horse, sail a boat, drive your car along the road / Fly away, in the style walk and never doubt".
