Founder of Studio Mastering, started his career as sound engineer in 1992 and since then he has worked on music production, collaborating with artists and labels specialized in classical, jazz, rock, and electronic music. He has digitized and restored almost 500 soundtracks, including the entire collection of Carlo Savina including 250 soundtracks, and of Piero Piccioni with more than 170 soundtracks and recording orchestrals from the works of the greatest italian filmakers : Federico Fellini, Vittorio De Sica, Gillo Pontecorvo, Michelangelo Antonioni, Renzo Rossellini, Luchino Visconti, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Dino Risi etc. He collaborates on a permanent basis with the "Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia", the "Istituto Luce", the National Film Library, the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage (for their historical archives). He worked for the BBC, Fox (10), RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana and film productions for postproduction and sound design in both stereo and 5.1. To date, they have moved into his studio facilities for the mastering of many national and international artists. He has written articles for various magazines like : Computer Music Studio, Sound & Lite, Backstage and on various Internet sites. Since 2010 he has completely updated his recording studio, with the addition of a new Mastering room, containing a vintage equipment collection combined with the most modern technologies as well as the ability to host archives for magnetic tapes and films, in an air-conditioned and humidified environment .
