Born in Pompei, Italy, August 14 1952. Author and composer. He was revealed (as Pino D'Angiò) with his famous disco hit "Ma Quale Idea" in 1980. The song was sampled by many artists in the 90's, such as French hip hop duo No Se and Australian dance duo Madison Avenue. Giuseppe Chierchia also wrote for many other artists like RAF (5), Miguel Bosé, and Mina (3) to name a few. Received the Rhythm & Soul Music Award in 2001.
