Rock and Jazz
Glazz is a band that doesn’t hesitate in dressing the beats and bars of ‘Spanish bulerías’ with the power of Rock or the ease of Funk with the elegance of Jazz on musical pieces that evoke the masters of Progressive Rock with a distinct personal style. Since 2008, when they released their first album “Let’s Glazz”, they have performed in several festivals and venues all over the world (Japan, Havana Jazz Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival, Amman, Lebanon…) This three-piece band from Andalucia surprised us with an unique and high-quality conceptual proposal called “Cirquelectric”. After that, they started a 3 pieces series of improvised albums called “The Jamming Sessions”, one of them recognized as the best Spanish fusion-rock album for 2014 by a popular specialized magazine/radio show. The last of this series was recorded during their second japanese tour and will be released in December of 2015. As profesional musicians they collaborate with flamenco-Jazz pianist virtuoso David Dorantes and with songwritter Javier Ruibal among many others jazz, flamenco and rock artists.
