Glider formed in 2001, a collaboration between Tim Allan (Vocals), Mike Morecroft (Guitars) and James Neale (Drums). Glider from the start was about friends enjoying good music and writing original indie-pop songs. As their ambitions grew so did the line-up with James Ives (Guitars) and Loz Hood (Bass) joining in 2003, adding an extra dimension to the song-writing as well as much needed depth to the live sound. This remained the core Glider line-up until 2009 when James Ives decided to leave the band due to work commitments and Glider have remained a 4-piece ever since.
