Glitches are an Alternative/ Post Rock band from London, GB From Glitches' conception, the idea of the band was far beyond the music it made. Rather, it was focussed on the multi-sensory impact it created and progression it endeavoured to commit. Glitches live, write, and record together, cultivating an ethos of self-reliance that extends beyond the music. It defines the very foundations of their lifestyle. Musically there are few artists who share their understanding, scope and ambition. Having received the prestigious UK Arts Council and PRS Momentum Fund, Glitches have spent the summer of 2014 realising this in their debut album, marooned in the deepest Welsh countryside. The results are both anthemic, yet subversive and haunting. It tracks the concept of ‘Lost Language’, from hope to its inexorable doom. Life-affirming shows at Glastonbury Festival and a European tour with Cloud Control in 2014 have demonstrated Glitches’ prowess as a live force. However, at their live core are their regular Halcyon Nights, a series of underground parties accommodated within the heights of Glitches HQ. Sandwiched between an Algerian Cabal and East End Whores this hub of creativity and vice of the musically and socially inquisitive, provides a through the keyhole insight to how the trio work and live whilst boldly offering up some of London’s most exciting new and established talent. It's chaos (within reason). Source: https://www.sonicbids.com/band/glitchesmusic/
