Global Groove System is a collaboration of two producers Marko Aamunkajo (Finland) and Ruben Pruntel (Netherlands). Their sound could be called Nasty and Groovy electro house blended with a mixture of genres. Marko and Ruben first hooked up on DanDon’t forums several years ago through general interest in music and producing. As one of the main characters behind DanDon’t Marko soon recognized Ruben’s talent and realized both sharing the drive and passion for good Electro house... Connecting in studio immediately - Marko and Ruben enjoyed producing together so much they later decided to blend their influences and characters to form Global Groove System. Marko has a background from sound engineering, mainly television and documentary sound but realizes his passion through music and groovy electro house which has driven him from sound engineering to being a full-blown programmer, producer and sound designer. “ Getting the rhythm, groove and feel going is something that involves knowing the process and I guess it would be Marko that – most of the time – comes up with the actual structure and mix for a track. He's also a bit of a gear-head and comes up with weirdest sounds and mixes. “ Ruben shares his passion as a producer with his roots being in the more harder styles of electronic music but also being a talented guitar player and programmer. His influential melodies and grooves combined with the weird sounds are the key to the sound of Global Groove System. “ Ruben is a real wizard programming those unearthly melodies and progressions…he always seems to come up with ideas that are strange at first glance but very unique and groovy when you look a bit closer. “ Global Groove System has been signed to an italian Electro label Only 4 Money records in summer 2009.
