Percussion ensemble formed in 2008. Glorious Percussion takes its name from the piece that brought its members together. In September 2008, they gave the world première of Sofia Gubaidulina’s work of the same name for five percussionists and orchestra, performed with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra under Gustavo Dudamel.
