Years active: 1999 - 2001, 2004 - present Formed by Dagon (1983-2000) and Funeral, Goat Thron was originally a raw Black Metal band. Dagon committed suicide by hanging on 06/10/2000. Goat Thron split-up from September 2001 to March 2004. Funeral re-launched Goat Thron as a Dark Industrial Noise/ Dark Ambient act and said that Goat Thron would never again be Black Metal without Dagon. Goat Thron (since 1999) use miner machines and old electronic devices, gantry crane, metal elements, halls, oscilloscope, broken loops, broken electret microphones, old magnetic tape and real-to-real audio tape recording, old overdrive, primitive mixing console and programs… no modern stuff, no fashion device, no political correctness, no trends, only pure, raw and non compromised death industrial/noise with dark ambient/drones sounds from copper mine!
