Album UK 2002 on GAS Records label
Rock (Space Rock, Psychedelic Rock)
Taken from the Gong side of the Glastonbury Fayre Festival triple LP. On the original LP release, Pip Pyle is credited on drums along with Laurie Allan. In the inside sleeve notes of this reissue, Daevid Allen writes : "How comes that Laurie Allan was gigging in London with Fat Harry when Gong appeared at Glastonbury ?" And Daevid Allen's autobiography 'Gong Dreaming 2' confirms that Pip Pyle played the gig. In fact, Pyle and Allan are both featured on this album. The reason is that it comes from different recordings : Glastonbury in 1971 (with Pip Pyle) and Nanterre 1972 (with Laurie Allan) Total playing time: 22:42 © 1972 Daevid Allen. ©&℗ 2002 Gas Records
