Gordi were the first heavy metal band to appear in ex Yugoslavia. Formed in Belgrade, Serbia, they were active in period 1977-1984 and released five LPs. In the beggining they played prog hard rock, but last 2 albums were more heavy metal orientated. Members were: Zlatko Manojlović - vocals, guitar Goran Manojlović - keyboards (1977-1980) Stevan Milutinović - drums (1977-1980) Dragan Janković - bass (1977-1978) Zdenko Pomper - bass (1979-1980) Slobodan Svrdlan - bass (from 1981) Čedomir Petrović - drums (from 1981)
